Dispelling The Untrue

An Abstract Painting from my Daily Paintings project.

6″ x 8″, Oil on canvas.
Light is associated with dispelling the untrue and sun is the perennial source of that light.
It is my hope that you, the viewer, will interpret this painting as if the sunlight is destroying the darkness, the physical and the one in the minds of people. While painting this painting, I was more concerned about how to destroy the darkness of unknown in my mind and how to clear up the hazy and unclear picture of my priorities.
For me, the abstract paintings start with a concept or a thought and I only assist the thought to reveal itself on the canvas.
