A Landscape Painting from my Daily Paintings project.

The Teesta river, as it enters the plains, leaving behind the high Himalayan mountains. Here it is only a trickle as compared to what it was before it was dammed at multiple places and it’s water diverted.
Just wondering, are such big dams a zero-sum-game where water is snatched from one place and given to other?
